市川 アリサ 外国語学部英語学科3年
Hi everyone. My name is Alyssa Ichikawa. I'm a third year student here at Kyorin University and I'm here to tell you about 2 topics, the TOEIC test and Kyorin University. I will also tell you about my experience.
First, why does Kyorin University administer the TOEIC test? Kyorin University uses this test to measure each student’s English skills or ability. It also lets the professors or the Department of the Academic Affairs know on what level the students need to focus on. The TOEIC test also builds up each student’s motivation in getting a high score. By doing the test we'll be able to realize our weakness and strengths. In my own experience before coming to Kyorin University, my best score was 780. Thanks to the exciting lectures at Kyorin University, my score reached 845. For students who are having a difficult time learning English the professors and instructors here at Kyorin University will help you improve your weak spots and help you bring your level up, but it doesn‘t mean that you won't have to do anything. You have to at least do your best in studying.
Second, Kyorin University has two campuses, one in Mitaka City and the other in Hachioji City. The Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Nursing, Nursing School, Graduate School of Medicine and Kyorin University Hospital are located at the Mitaka Campus. The Faculty of Health Sciences, the Graduate School of Health Sciences, the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Foreign Studies and the Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies are located at the Hachioji Campus. Kyorin University also supports every student who is having a hard time not only in studying but also in their school lives, such as how to be able to pass the job hunting exams or how to improve one’s weakness and make it their own strength. Kyorin University has a lot to offer for students.
In conclusion, I think that the professors and instructors at Kyorin University and the Department of Academic Affairs gave me a lot of continued support. I would really recommend a lot of high school students to study with us under the slogan “Go Global”!!
