Dr. Melo's Comment
I enjoyed very much my observership at Kyorin. It was amazing to be able to be in the OR everyday seeing the complex Vitreoretinal surgeries that are done at your center. I have learned a lot from Prof. Inoue and Dr. Koto. Seeing them operate will definitely change my practice pattern when I get back to Toronto, especially regarding the management of myopic patients.
I am extremely grateful to everyone at Kyorin for allowing me to have this incredible opportunity. I would like to thank Prof. Inoue again for making this possible and also thank you for assisting and helping me. I also would like to thank all the residents, fellows and professors I met at Kyorin. They have made my stay in Japan very special!
