The Kyorin University Gender Equality Promotion Office was established to help female researchers attain a better work-life balance and expand the base of female researchers University-wide.
In more specific terms, the Office:
1. encourages the use of life event support systems, runs the Childbirth/Childcare Support Navigation service, and operates the Nursing-Care Navigation service;
2. expand measures for helping women return to work, implement anti-harassment measures, and operate flexible work systems;
3. Improve awareness of female researcher recruitment and ongoing career support and help women play more important roles in human resources and other organizational operations; and
4. fortify the academic counseling structure and provide individualized guidance through a mentor system.
