オープンキャンパスにて、高校生向けライティングセミナーを開催

6/16（土）より、杏林大学のオープンキャンパス始まりました。
ライティングセンターでも高校生達にライティング体験をしてもらうべく、3つのコンテンツを用意し、ワークショップを開設しました。
オープンキャンパス初回とのことで、開催時間は13：00～16：00（学校説明もあった為、実質13：40～）と短いものでしたが、12名の高校生がライティング体験をしました。
留学経験のある在学生と直接話ができる機会という事もあって、高校生達も積極的に参加し、ご家族の方々もよく質問をしてい下さっている様子でした。

7月、8月に行われる井の頭キャンパスのオープンキャンパスでも、今回に同じくワークショップを開催しております。

On Saturday, June 16th the first Open Campus of the year took place and Kyorin Writing Center （KWC）was open for business from 1pm – 4pm. As part of the campus tour, many students and parents visited the KWC. What we generally do in the KWC for the university students and then what activities we had planned for the Open Campus were explained by the Director of the KWC （Jason Somerville）and the Peer Tutors. The first students participated in the KWC at 1:55pm and we busily managed to serve 12 students in total up until 4pm. The students had a choice of three activities that increased in difficulty. They were Postcard Writing, Report Writing and Entrance Exam Writing. The students who participated took around 15 – 20 minutes to complete each activity and were helped and supported by the Peer Tutors and given feedback from the Director. The students enjoyed the activities and did a great job in the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the KWC.
