オープンキャンパス（7/28）において、ライティングセンターで高校生が指導を受ける

On Saturday, July 28th the second Open Campus of the year took place and Kyorin Writing Center （KWC） was open for business from 10am – 4pm. As part of the campus tour, many students and parents visited the KWC. What we generally do in the KWC for the university students and then what activities we had planned for the Open Campus were explained by the Director of the KWC （Jason Somerville） and the Peer Tutors.

The students had a choice of three activities that increased in difficulty. They were Postcard Writing, Report Writing and Entrance Exam Writing. The students who participated took around 15 – 20 minutes to complete each activity and were helped and supported by the Peer Tutors and given feedback from the Director. Although a typhoon was on its way, the KWC was constantly busy and we served 18 students. The students enjoyed the activities and did a great job in the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the KWC.
