高校生対象の英語ライティングセミナーを開催

平成30年11月17日に高校生対象の英語ライティングセミナーを実施しました。
6人の高校生が、2名の杏林生ピアチューターとネイティブ教員から指導を受けました。


The fall Writing Seminar place on Saturday, November 17th, 2018 and was attended by six students from two senior high schools (Kanto Kokusai and Musashino Jogakuin). Two KWC Peer Tutors attended the seminar and assisted the teacher. There were three writing tasks: Postcard Writing, Report Writing and Entrance Exam Writing.

The students were required to complete all of the above tasks. The students who participated received one-to-one help and assistance with either the Peer Tutors or the teacher. After completion of the Postcard, students were introduced to the ‘Hamburger Paragraph’ and encouraged to write with proper academic structure (topic sentence, supporting sentences, and concluding sentence) for the Report Writing and Entrance Exam Writing. The students did an excellent job and added more details and structure their paragraphs. The seminar was wrapped up photographs.
