米国研修に向かう保健学部学生にプレゼン・スキル・ワークショップを開催

平成31年3月7日に、米国研修に行く準備として保健学部作業療法学科の学生14人に対して、プレゼン・スキル・ワークショップをJason　Somerville特任講師が行いました。

Our Occupational Therapists from the Faculty of Health Sciences will travel to the USA on a ten-day visit. 14 second and third year students will take part in an exchange program with the University of Southern California. As part of the program, the students are required to give a group presentation in English to their American hosts. Today, the students attended a workshop on Presentation Skills.

The workshop included advice and feedback on their script and also their PowerPoint （from the Director of the Kyorin Writing Center – Jason Somerville）. The students received individual group help and then all students were given advice about delivery （body, language, voice, transitions）. All groups had a chance to present today and then received feedback. Advice was given about travelling to the USA and also about presenting to an American audience. The workshop had a great atmosphere and all students participated well.
