IMPORTANT: Cancellation of International Programs Starting from Summer/Fall 2020

As of May 27, all face-to-face teaching on campus has been suspended at Kyorin University, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, of which victims are reported to have reached over 346 thousand worldwide and 5.49 million still suffering.

Given this situation, the University has taken the decision to cancel all international programs starting from Summer/Fall 2020, namely,
1. Reciprocal Exchange Programs,
2. Medium-Term Study Abroad, and
3. Summer programs.

Note that applications for private study programs, such as the Direct-Enroll Study Abroad, will also be subject to cancellation as the University will not approve participation.

The University chose to put safety first for both domestic and international offer-holders/applicants. While travel restrictions still in place in many countries and international admission procedures suspended, we could not wait for further updates, and decided to move on.

Decisions concerning admissions for programs starting from February 2021 and later will be announced in view of the situation in late August 2020.
